IMU offers training programme in all
functional areas of Port & Shipping Management for
the officials of Ports and related sectors. The areas
include traffic operations, finance, engineering, human
resource management, general management,computer applications
etc.
VENUE & ACCOMMODATION :
The
courses will be held at the IMU Chennai campus at East
Coast Road, Uthandi, Chennai 600 119. Participants will
be given accommodation at the Guest House/Hostel, subject
to availability.

Major Ports, IPA, IMU Regional Campuses, Ministry of
Shipping
· Rs.600/-
per day per participant for the participants from Non
Major Ports, and Maritime Boards
· Rs.1400/-
per day per participant from other organisations

Boarding and Lodging Charges:
· Rs.100/-
per day per participant from Ports, IPA, IMU Regional
Campuses, Ministry of Shipping, Non Major Ports, and
Maritime Boards
· Rs.150/-
per day for the participants from other organisations
(both arrival and departure days inclusive). The
participants may pay boarding and lodging charges directly
to NMA.
TRANSPORT REIMBURSEMENT FOR OFFICIALS OF MAJOR PORTS / MOS
/ IIPM / IPA :
Participants who propose to stay at IMU Guest House/Hostel
are advised to hire transport and reach IMU Campus at
Uthandi. Reimbursement shall be made at the following
rates for only officials of Major Ports / MOS, IMU
Regional Campuses, IPA .

Station to IMU Chennai (NMA) Campus
Faculty:
The courses are handled by in-house faculty as well as
serving/ retired Port Officers and other experts with good
exposure in the subjects they handle. Every effort is
taken by the Faculty to provide the latest information on
the subject.
